I am a person who stutters and I have spent an enormous amount of effort over the course of multiple decades trying to overcome stuttering. I believe I have finally figured out exactly how stuttering happens and what to do to make it stop happening. In other words, I believe I now know the cause of and cure for stuttering.

I once stuttered severely, but speaking is not a significant issue for me today. Specifically, I do not stutter any more or less than people who do not stutter. Although I still fail to successfully apply the cure now and then (and stutter a little bit as a result), I am convinced by my experience that my understandings of the cause of and cure for stuttering are accurate and that it is only a matter of time and practice before the tendency to stutter in me is completely gone.

I wrote this book in order to share my discoveries with other people, primarily people who struggle with stuttering themselves. My goal was to communicate the core of my solution in as fast and direct a way as possible, sparing the reader any unnecessary "fluff." I hope you find what I have written here useful to you.
